The unit was only used for breast cancer treatment. The attachments for skin cancer, cervical cancer & bronchial cancers are still in their original packaging in an unopened condition.

Nucletron microSelection HDR (High Dose Rate) Model 105.999 is a remote controlled afterloading system for treatment of cancer by interluminal, intracavity, and interstitial brachytherapy. It consists of
1. Treatment Unit equipped with the main safe for the iridium-192 source, dual drive mechanisms for the source and the check cable, two stepper motors, an indexing system for eighteen separate source channels, power supply, and an electric head treatment adjuster. The treatment unit is mounted on wheels and will only operate when installed in an appropriately shielded room.
2. Treatment Control Panel (Control Box) containing a microprocessor control with main and back-up timers.
3. Treatment Control Station including the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
4. Nucletron Plato and Oncentra HDR treatment planning systems.
5. Emergency/Service Container (aka “pig”).
6. Patient Applicators: the manufacturer provided CT and MR conventional applicators with all the corresponding transfer tubes.
7. The treatment unit and the accessories are in excellent condition, and the treatment control system is current with Nucletron updates.
