Dear Sir, I write in this way to query about the cost of installation and commissioning of equipment offered in the city of Cochabamba, Bolivia. It is very important to know the total equipment cost to be shipped to city of Cochabamba in Bolivia in order to make the acquisition. Dear Sir, In terms of providing estimates of installation costs I need to know a few things: 1) Do you have a bunker with a base frame already installed? 2) Do you plan to have the base frame taken out with the Ximatron [if possible] at the Hospital where the unit is located, at additional cost, or would you want to buy an aftermarket base frame at additional cost and have it shipped with the Simulator 3) Do you want the cost estimate to include the cost of installing the base frame in concrete in the vault? 4) Regarding "installation and commissioning" of equipment at your facility. Are you seeking a contractor to do just installation [rigging and securing unit to base frame] or do you want additional services to do above, plus full commissioning including physics testing up through turning the unit over to the user for check-out by Varian and subsequent clinical use?
Dear Sir 1 .- The Hospital has a bunker where it is installed a simulator which is out of service 2 .- We do not require an additional base frame 3 .- We do not require an additional base frame 4 .- We require technical support for equipment installation and operation by authorized personnel and technical knowledge of Simulator. If you account services provided by personnel authorized for the implementation of the equipment at the hospital, and whether the installation of the equipment has an additional cost I can arrange to offer technical support for the installation. I apologize for the delay in replying. It is taking some time to get quotes on installing the system in Bolivia. I need to know if in addition to rigging in the unit and powering it on, you want technical personnel to work with your physicist to bring the unit into operation, and coordinate the acceptance testing. The approximate cost of the unit delivered to a specified port for Bolivia will be a deinstallation cost of $9,500 at the US Hospital, transport to a crating center and crating it for ocean freight shipment at $8,200, and the ocean freight shipping cost of $4,700. I am seeking bids on basic rig-in installation of the unit, and startup technical services. However, please provide more detail about the specific services you wish to have supplied in preparing the unit before being turned over to your staff, ready to be used on patients. If you want me to send a Draft Purchase Agreement for the sale of the unit itself to you, please advise. If you sign a Draft Purchase Agreement and make a token good-faith $2,000 deposit, the unit will be held for your inspection and acceptance. If the unit is not accepted after inspection, your deposit will be returned in full. If a unit is not under a conditional purchase agreement, the unit is available for anyone to purchase since it is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to prior sale. We should discuss the details of the installation. Are you interested in just rigging in the unit to the point of beam-on, or are you interested in full service through acceptance testing, and turning the unit over to the facility for operation? Please advise. I look forward to the opportunity to be of service to you.
